Photography: I’ve been snapping photos since childhood, briefly studied photojournalism, photography, and black and white darkroom techniques in high school and college, and work annually as the staff photographer for Western International Band Clinic. My photos have been featured in Bandworld Magazine, promotional materials for the American Band College, and on the cover of “To the Max” by Robert W. Smith.

Videography: My video footage of concerts and clinics is featured on annual DVDs by the American Band College and Western International Band Clinic. Excerpts from these videos may be found on YouTube, Vimeo, and bandworld.org.
- Live streaming: During the pandemic I’ve had the opportunity to hone my live streaming skills weekly as tech coordinator for my First Presbyterian Church Roseburg, with simulcasts to YouTube and Facebook using vMix broadcasting software. At ABC I’ve used Switcher Studio for both in-house and live stream video feeds.

A/V: As a substitute teacher, I’ve become adept at figuring out just about any audio/visual equipment in five minutes or less.
-
Computer: A guru of most things Mac, I’ve spent more than my share of time troubleshooting (and computing on) PCs. From simple programming to business and arts software, I’ve either mastered it or I’m willing to give it a shot.
-
Web: I’ve been designing websites since the mid-90s, hand writing the code for my own ABC Bandgeek Central and Casual Tee Gifts (now closed, my aunt’s online store included a MivaMerchant cart system). I also administer a handful of education and arts pages and groups on FaceBook and Twitter.
-
Theatre Tech: I’ve been active in theatre in one respect or another for my entire life, so I’ve been involved in nearly every aspect at one time or another, lighting being my favorite. I can also run basic sound and sound effects, build sets and props, sew costumes, and do makeup for various sized venues.

Teaching Experience: I’ve been a licensed Oregon teacher since 1990, working as a substitute in nearly every subject at the middle and high school level, with a year under contract teaching English to learning disabled students and another year teaching band. I’ve also done long-term stints teaching band and English/drama.
